We set up the Big Olney Food Festival stage and sound desk on Friday, then on Saturday morning, I rehearsed with my jazz band ...
We played at the festival and, after handing my banjolele to a fellow band member, I immediately hopped into the old jalopy and drove to East Sussex to set up the stage trailer for an event at a country park.
As it was so far away from home, I stayed the night with my brother and sister-in-law in Sussex. The next day we ran the show, took the stage down and drove back to Clifton Reynes on Sunday evening.
By the time I got home with the stage trailer, the BOFF crew had taken down our staging at Olney and delivered it back, so all is now in storage waiting for the next gig.
There's still plenty of great festivals and gigs out there this summer and autumn, so if you need any staging then do have a look at www.stage-trailer.org.uk. We supply everything you need, from the portable staging to disabled ramps, and, of course, our full stage trailer.
I'm off to bed now, but by the time you read this my batteries will be recharged and I'll be ready for action.
