The Arches Theatre: Our Summer 2021 Line Up Is Complete!

You may have already seen that we have just added one last performance to our summer schedule. We are delighted to have West End leading man, Alistair Brammer, return to The Arches Theatre on Friday 13th August ...

Following a very special show in 2020, Alistair Brammer returns with 'The Magic of Musical Theatre'. Alistair has performed leading roles in both the West End and on Broadway. Shows like Les Misérables, War Horse, Miss Saigon, which he also performed in New York, and Wicked, where he was playing Fiyero before the pandemic hit. He has also performed as a soloist in concerts at the Royal Albert Hall including West Side Story and Sondheim's Follies.

"Alistair also played Jean Prouvaire in the Les Misérables movie alongside Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe!"

Expect some of the finest musical theatre classics that the Broadway songbook has to offer, as well as some interesting stories from his life in theatre and screen along the way, all in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Arches as the sun goes down.

We now have ten incredible shows for you to choose from and enjoy at our quirky outdoor theatre. From two Shakespeare plays and Robin Hood to Cinderella, Sherlock Holmes and more; we most certainly have something for everyone. Click here to see our full line-up!

Tickets are selling quickly to all shows, so get your tickets booked as soon as possible. Gather your friends and family, pack up a picnic, put the bubbly on ice and bring a chair. Escape with us for a few hours at our idyllic, peaceful location and soak up the atmosphere. There is no better place to be than at The Arches on a glorious summer's day.

"Please vote for us!"

For the last few years, we have entered the Best Theatre/Arts Venue category in The Muddy Stilettos Bucks & Oxon 2021 Awards. 'The Muddies' as they are known, are "the most coveted #inlovewithlocal awards for indie businesses". Each year we sadly get pipped to the post by the much larger theatres such as Waterside Aylesbury, MK Theatre and Oxford New Theatre. We would absolutely love The Arches to get recognised this year, so we are asking for your help.

Could you spare just a few minutes to nominate us in the Best Theatre/Arts Venue in Bucks & Oxon category? Here's the link you need. You have only until 22nd June to nominate us.
