The Arches Theatre: Keeping You Safe This Summer

Yesterday (Monday the 19th of July) COVID-19 restrictions eased, and some safety measures will no longer be a legal requirement. One of those is the necessity to wear a face-covering ...

Naturally, there will be nervousness about this, so when we open on the 24th of July, we want all our cast, crew and audience members to feel safe when they are with us. Even though we are an outside space we will still be taking precautions.

"We are still operating on a restricted audience!"

This means that we will be socially distancing our audience in the seating area, and we will have extra hand sanitiser available. It is everyone's choice whether they wear a face covering, and we'd like all our audience members to respect others' decisions.

We also ask that:

- You do not attend if you have symptoms or have come into contact with anyone with/with symptoms of Covid-19
- You check-in on our track and trace app on arrival
- Once you are seated, please remain in your area unless you are going to the toilet (portaloo) or purchasing an ice cream (if the Willen Ice Cream van is at your performance)
- Contact us immediately following your visit if you begin to show signs of Covid-19

We are all desperate to return to live performances and we want everyone to enjoy themselves. So, please let's all work together to make this a fantastic summer season for us all. We can't wait to welcome our audiences back this weekend.
