The Arches Theatre: Ending The Run With A West End Spectacular!

I cannot believe that we are almost at the end of our 2020 summer theatre run. It has been an absolutely fantastic few weeks. We've thoroughly enjoyed hosting a range of live productions by some incredible artists ...

We've welcomed many talented performers, enjoyed some interesting weather and hosted so many excited audience members through our gates. It has been rather special ... but it isn't over yet! We have one more live production coming to our outdoor theatre stage this weekend.

"We are very excited to have six West End artists perform a brand-new show that they have created especially for us called Musicals in the Park!"

For just over 90 minutes you will hear some of the best show tunes from the likes of Chicago, The Greatest Showman, Grease and more, plus see some amazing choreography from this cast of top singers and dancers.

Scott Coldwell, Lucy Dean, Whitney Martins, Adam Lyons, Natasha Mould and Alex Brown have not only performed on a West End stage, but they have also worked with the likes of Madonna, Rhianna, Take That, Rita Ora, Emma Bunton and the Strictly Come Dancing team. Expect a fun, high energy performance that will get you up singing and dancing.

If you have tickets, then you are in for a real treat! If you haven't, there is still time to get them at The Little Boxoffice website by clicking here and we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

"Interested in hiring The Arches for 2021?"

We'd love to be able to extend our programme of live events this year, but sadly it's just not possible. The Arches Theatre, which is part of a disused railway line, are on a flood plain and towards the end of Autumn they can occasionally be found underwater! So, I don't think that would be too much fun unless we were putting on The Wind in the Willows.

We tend to run our schedule between August and mid-September to try and get the good summer weather. Although it wasn't always the case this year; we did get our fair share of wind and rain thanks to Storm Francis. But as always, the shows must go on.
