We are delighted to announce that Milton Keynes Theatre of Comedy (MKTOC) is bringing its stage production of 'Allo 'Allo to The Arches Theatre one month earlier than planned ...
We will only be able to go ahead with the production if the Government relax the guidelines for this type of event and if MKTOC are still happy to perform. The safety of our staff, performers and audience members remain our absolute priorities.
As the comedy troupe put it:
"By popular demand, we return to war-torn occupied France and the café of Rene Artois. All of your much-loved characters from the hit comedy TV series are included. Witness Rene attempt to juggle running a café, love affairs with numerous serving girls, supporting the French resistance and treading a dangerous path with the Germans and the Gestapo.
We promise escaped British airmen, knockwurst sausages, some dodgy accents and of course a picture of The Fallen Madonna with the big Boobies."
The new show dates are Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August. Timings are to be confirmed and tickets will go on sale soon on the MKTOC website.
Over the next few weeks, we will be meeting with the local troupe at The Arches so they can firm up their staging possibilities and plans. The performance will be tightly controlled, and the social distancing rules will obviously impact on how the stage will be set and the audience seating arranged. There is a lot to think about, but we will make it work.
Would you like to be involved in this performance? Casting opportunities are available, so please get in touch with Steve Clark at MKTOC directly. We are really looking forward to this performance as we know it will be hilariously brilliant.
You won't want to miss out on this. We can guarantee that tickets will sell out quickly, so keep an eye out on both The Arches Theatre and MKTOC's social media channels for when the box office opens.
