We are Sparks Olney, the UK's leading provider of film and media activities for children aged from 8 to 14, and we are bringing our exciting filmmaking workshops to schools in and around Olney ...
Our workshops can be tailored to your needs. Perhaps you are looking to add something new to your extra-curricular sessions, have a fun activity for students to unleash their creativity, use our skills and knowledge as part of a larger project, or maybe an assembly to find out more about what we do.
Whatever your requirements, we can adapt our training for your students so they can get the best out of their time with us. We would love to give as many young people as possible the opportunity to try the inspiring art of filmmaking.
Our workshops are held by our trained teachers and cover all elements of the creative and technical filmmaking process. Students explore all the different crew roles you find on a real film set, including directing, camera operation, video editing, acting, scriptwriting and much more. They will explore and develop their own creative ideas and potentially work on real-life filmmaking projects to boost their skills.
Students won't only learn inspiring new skills and techniques, but they will also grow in confidence and creativity, meet other great young people from within your school and have a lot of fun.
In addition to school filmmaking workshops, we also hold weekly Sunday sessions and half-term workshops, currently at The Olney Centre, High Street, Olney. If you would like to book one of our school filmmaking workshops or you would like further information on Sparks Olney, please take a look at our website.
