The team here at Sparks Olney are now counting down the days to our Easter filmmaking workshop with 11 - 14-year-olds from Monday 4th April until Friday 8th April at East Street Community, Olney ...
If you are, or you know someone that is, interested in movie making and want to learn all the different aspects involved in putting films together and actually creating your own brand-new movie, then make sure you are part of our fun workshop.
During the week, you will learn both the creative and technical aspects, including pitching, storyboarding, scriptwriting, directing shots, camera operation, film editing and so much more!
The theme of the week will be to create and direct a film which entails making a film with all the technical aspects So, this will hopefully get your creative juices flowing. By the end of the week, you will have written, filmed, starred in and edited your own movie.
It is very much a hands-on learning experience that gives young people a chance to try something new, boost their confidence, gain new skills and meet other young people with similar interests. To find out more and to book your place, please visit our website.
Run by David Pibworth (owner of The Arches Theatre) and his expert team David and Emily, Sparks Olney has been set up to give young people the opportunity to be inspired, unleash their creativity, discover their passions, and develop skills that will help them to thrive both now and in the future.
