Our World Theatre Day 2021 Competition

World Theatre Day 2021 is just around the corner on Saturday the 27th of March. It is celebrated annually all around the world with the hope of building awareness about the importance of theatre and the arts, plus highlighting the phenomenal artists and creatives within the industry ...

As we know, it's been an incredibly tough year for theatres and the arts as a whole. World Theatre Day 2021 will certainly be more poignant than previous ones. As many theatres slowly switch on their lights and artists continue to move forward to live performances and new opportunities, we must continue to support them where we can.

This year we will be joining in the celebrations and shouting about the incredible talent we have had on our outdoor stage over the last three years, as well as the sensational artists performing this summer.

We are also giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets to come to The Arches Theatre this summer to see a show of your choice. All you have to do is:

- Follow us on one (or why not all?) of our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
- Like our World Theatre Day Competition post
- Comment who you will bring with you if you win. You can tag as many people in the post as you like. Each tag is one entry... so get tagging!

To make the experience even better for our winners we have teamed up with local artisan ice cream maker, Richard at The Willen Ice Cream Company. He will give our lucky winners an extra treat of a scoop of his finest handmade ice cream at the event (as long as he is able to attend and not at a prior engagement) plus a tub of their Flavour of the Month (tbc) for collection at Olney Farmers Market.

"Wow! What a prize!"

You can't get better than a fantastic live theatre with delicious ice cream. Enter today! If you haven't seen our line up for this year yet, please take a look at our What's On page. We have something for everyone and still more to announce.

You are in for a real treat this summer.
