Filmmaking Sessions At Sparks Arts Olney

With Christmas just around the corner, we have the ideal present for the 8 to 14-year-old in your life. If your child has an interest in filmmaking or would like to try something new, then give them the gift of Sparks Arts Olney this festive season ...

Sparks Arts Olney is part of Sparks Film and Media Arts - the UK's leading provider of film and media activities for children and young people. Our movie-making sessions help to inspire young people by giving them opportunities to experience all aspects of creating a film.

"They step into the roles you'll find on a real film set!"

From scriptwriting, directing shots and camera work to acting, editing and everything in between, our students get the chance to have a go at it all. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for film.

Our action-packed and hands-on workshops get children and teenagers working on their own productions and exploring new themes and techniques. We work in small groups, so everyone gets a chance to have their say and develop ideas.

Our weekly two-hour sessions are held every Sunday from 10am until 12pm at The East Street Community Centre. Our staff are well qualified, carefully trained and DBS checked. We get hands-on in our activities and we encourage everyone to get fully immersed in the learning and fun.

"It's the gift of film!"

If you are interested in registering your child for our weekly sessions, please get in touch and we can sign you up for the January term. You can also find out more about us and our sessions on our website and if you have any questions, please do get in touch.

We'd love to have them join us at Sparks Arts Olney.
