All-Female Line Up For The Wet Mariners 10th Anniversary

This year at The Arches Theatre we have an all-female Wet Mariners line-up for their 10th-anniversary performance of Love's Labour's Lost on Saturday 20th August. This was the very first production by The Wet Mariners in 2012 when they had freshly graduated from LAMDA ...

You most certainly don't want to miss this ingenious revival on our outdoor stage. In true Wet Mariner style, this is guaranteed to be filled with fun, energy, eccentric comedy and much laughter. The cast are:

- Kat Jack - most recently Rosalind in 'As You Like It' at The Watermill Theatre. Kat is playing Don Armado, Rosaline, Nathaniel and Dull. - Shazia Nicholls - is appearing this summer as Ismene in the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre production of 'Antigone'. Shazia is playing the Princess. - Brooke Markham - returns to the UK to perform with the Mariners for the first time since 2014. Brooke is playing Costard and Boyet. - Sophie Whittaker is reprising the role of Holofernes in this 10-year anniversary production of Love's Labour's Lost, and also taking on the role of Ferdinand. - Amy Milburn - is currently directing a professional Ukrainian cast in 'The Play That Goes Wrong', which will tour the Baltic States and Poland performing shows for Ukrainian refugees later this year. Amy is playing Berowne and Moth.

After vowing to avoid women and commit to a life of self-improvement for three years, the King of Navarre and three of his friends - Berowne, Dumaine and Longaville - have to host a princess and her three ladies. The four men fall in love and decide to court the women. In the end, the women must return to their kingdom for a year after which they will marry the king and his friends, providing they remain true to them.

The Wet Mariners will be performing on our outdoor stage on Saturday 20th August at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are available via our box office www.thearchestheatre.co.uk/whats-on and selling fast.
